Now, I configured N1MM with all 3 programs and discovered some of the advantages and disadvantages. I finally found it and a small test with the standalone FLDIGI made me happy. However DM780 uses the FLDIGI core and N1MM can use FLDIGI too, so it was just a matter of searching the configuration. Of course there are other possebilities like the superbrowser in DM780 but it is just what you're used to. The advantage of that is you can quickly see what stations are on a part of the frequency in the waterfall bandwith. The problem with MMVARI/MMTTY though is that they have no audio history capability like DM780. Back to the free contestlogger N1MM then. This log became worthless and I will not send it in. So, though DM780 is still the Rolls Royce of the digital mode softwares for me, it is not capable of error free contesting.
Half of the received exchange numbers were lost. Last week my SARTG RTTY contestlog was corrupted unfortenately.
